The 12 states PLS have locations in:

Xpectations!® Card Basics
The PLS Xpectations!® prepaid Visa® card allows for simple and instant access to funds, while remaining safe and secure, protecting you from fraudulent spending and insuring you don’t lose your cash. The card is accepted anywhere that Visa-debit cards are accepted across the US and around the world (for a foreign transaction fee). This includes physical locations, like restaurants, shops and grocery stores, as well as online, whether you’re paying bills or shopping. You can also withdraw cash instantly at PLS ATMs or PLS Cash Checkers locations nationwide, adding to its convenience factor.
Xpectations!® Card Fees
The Xpectations prepaid card is a fee heavy Visa® card. It's one of the few prepaid cards that charges fees per Pin transactions and Signature transactions. There is also a monthly fee and inactivity fee of $6.95. Unfortunately there isn't a way to waive the monthly fee. Cardholders can reload their card at PLS locations for free which is great news but your funds will take a hit from the numerous other fees the company charges. Here is a general overview of Xpectations card fees.
Xpectations® Card Daily Limit
ATM Withdrawal: $410
Spending Limit: $2,500
- $999 using Visa Readylink
- $2,500 using PLS stores
- $10,000 using direct deposit
You can opt for one of two plans: pay-as-you-go or monthly. There is a one-time fee of $6.95, which will be charged upon issuance, at all PLS stores, regardless of which plan you choose.
There is also a monthly charge of $6.95, to keep the account open and running if you opt for the monthly plan. Inactivity on the card for more than 90-days will be charged per month after the 3 month grace period. However, this fee is only for pay-as-you-go plan members. There are no fees for direct deposit or cash reloads at PLS Check Cashers stores, making getting access to funds accessible and stress free.
There are other small fees mentioned, such as a $1.00 charge for Bill Payment service, a $1.50 charge per PIN transaction, $1.00 per signature transaction, $2.25 for ATM withdrawals and $0.50 for ATM balance inquiries. You can make foreign transactions for a $5.00 fee per ATM withdrawal or a 3% foreign currency conversion. There are various differences between the two plans, so reading the terms and agreements on the PLS website before committing would be extremely beneficial.
PLS Mobile App
You can easily access your account through the PLS Mobile App, which is available at the Apple
Store and Google Play. The app is free to download and keeps track of all your spending in a neat, convenient format. You can view your account, transaction history and current balance, as well as make any needed changes to the account, such as changing the pin code or if you need to lock your card.
This is an excellent card if you want to take advantage of the no-cost direct deposits or reload balances frequently. Since it is also so widely used, it can be utilized at any physical or online location, making it a secure and convenient way to carry cash, whether locally or abroad.
Xpectations Card Bank
The Xpectations prepaid card is issued by Bancorp bank, one of the largest and leading prepaid card providers.
Can You Overdraft Xpectations Card?
Cardholders cannot overdraft on the Xpectations prepaid card. Remember that this is a prepaid debit card and not a bank debit card so its not possible to overdraft. Cardholders are allowed to spend only the amount they load onto the card.
Where Can I Load My Xpectations Card?
As we mentioned earlier, the Xpectations prepaid card is different from many of the other prepaid cards because it can only be reloaded at PLS retail locations. This is unfortunately a downside of the Xpectations card because other prepaid cards allow you to reload your card at many different retailers.
