How Often Can I Donate Plasma?

 

A donor can donate plasma twice a week. The process involves only removing your plasma while the red blood cells return to you. It takes anywhere from 24 to 48 hours for the donors body to replenish the plasma protein and other nutrients that have been removed.

 

Is it Safe To Donate Plasma?

 

Donating plasma is completely safe. The tools and supplies used during the process are sterile and used only once. Afterwards the supplies are thrown out for disposal, so the donors are at no risk.
